Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, petitioner is the husband. The victim committed suicide. He refers to the order rejecting the prayer for anticipatory bail as also the order granting anticipatory bail to the in-laws of the victim.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the Case Diary. The police case is dated July 26, 2022. Petitioner as noted above, is the husband of the victim.

There is an issue of long absconsion.

Apart from unnatural death, police are proceeding against the petitioner inter alia under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 where, materials in the Case Diary suggest his Signed By :

involvement. Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail is not warranted.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 1460 of 2024 is disposed of.
