Despite service of notice, private respondent is not represented. Affidavit-of-service filed today in court is taken on record.

WBSEDCL has attempted to grant electricity connection to the petitioner on two several occasions and has been resisted by the private respondent no.3.

In that view of the matter, the Officer-in-charge, Mogra Police Station, Dist.: Hooghly is directed to render all assistance to the WBSEDCL for the purpose of installation of meter and electricity connection to the petitioner. The cost of such protection shall be borne by the petitioner.

Let such connection be effected within a period of ten days from date.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
