This is a contempt application under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 filed by the petitioner on 5th July, 2002 seeking punishment of the alleged contemnors for violation of the order dated 7th March, 2000 passed by this court in C.O. No. 10169 (W) of 1991.

Since filing of the application none appeared for the petitioner to press the application.

I feel that the petitioner who is now aged 82 years is no longer interested to proceed with the application. Accordingly, the contempt application is dismissed for non appearance of the petitioner. (Rabindranath Samanta, J.)
