The petitioner participated in the recruitment process of Assistant Teacher conducted by the DPSC, Howrah in the year 2009. The recruitment process was completed in the year 2021. The petitioner claims that there are several irregularities in the recruitment process and seeks appointment.

This Court has occasion to deal with the recruitment process conducted by the DPSC, Howrah in WPA 3268 of 2015 (Sourav Naskar & Ors. Vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors.) with several other writ petitions on 9th April, 2024. In the said writ petitions, it was mentioned that the cut off date for entitlement of the said order would be 31st March, 2024 and no writ petition thereafter would be entertained.

The instant writ petition has been filed on 2nd April, 2024 beyond the cut off date mentioned in the said Sourav Naskar & Ors. (supra) decision.

No relief can, therefore, be granted to the petitioner.

Hence, the writ petition fails and hereby dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
