1. The petitioner, who is the practicing advocate before this Court, seeks for a direction upon the respondents to take appropriate action in compliance with Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure with regard to an incident in which a minor girl is alleged to have been raped.

2. In this regard, it is pointed out by the learned senior advocate appearing for the respondent State that the mother of the victim girl has already approached this Court and this relates to the main incident. That apart, the person who is alleged to have been killed, his brother Sri Mrinal Kanti Barman has already approached this Court and has filed WPA

10878 of 2023 and the learned Writ Court is in seisin of the matter.

3. Hence, at this juncture we are not inclined to entertain this public interest litigation.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition stands dismissed.
