1. Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than 400 days and although charge-sheet has been submitted but till date charges have not been framed. As such the petitioner may be released on bail.
2. Learned Advocate for the de facto complainant/ victim opposes the prayer for bail as obscene pictures of the victim
was uploaded in social networking site and circulated by the present petitioner.
3. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
4. I have taken into account the accusations. Having regard to the stage of the case I am of the opinion that the petitioner may be better advised to approach this Court after the evidence of the victim is over before the learned Trial Court.
5. Learned Special Court would expedite the process and ensure that the evidence of the victim is completed within a period of three months from the next date fixed.
6. Accordingly, C.R.M (M) 1190 of 2026 is dismissed at this stage.
7. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the Official website of this Court.
8. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
