And In Re : Upendra Debnath & Ors. ..... petitioners Mr. Soumyajit Das Mahapatra ... for the petitioners Mr. Sudip Ghosh Mr. Bitasok Banerjee ... for the State Materials on record show that the petitioner is engaged in illegal mining of sand. Investigation is in progress. Custodial interrogation may reveal the ramifications of the crime and lead to further recoveries. Hence, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.)
