Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the statements of witnesses including medical papers. Statements of witnesses show that the petitioner had assaulted the victim resulting in fracture injuries. His name has also transpired from the medical papers which discloses grievous injuries on the victim. Hence, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
