It is the case of the petitioner that he has been denied promotion from the post of Electrician-cum-Caretaker to the post of Cashier in the College, namely Achhruram Memorial College, Purulia.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that he has made a representation before the Director of Public Instruction, West Bengal by a letter dated January 20, 2022, ventilating his grievance.

Despite such representation no response, so far, has been received from the office of the Director of Public Instruction. He prays that his representation may be considered by the Director of Public Instruction. In view of the submissions made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, I dispose of this writ petition giving a direction upon the Director of Public Instruction to consider the representation made by the petitioner before the

Director of Public Instruction, West Bengal which is appearing at page 46 of the writ petition within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order. The petitioner and all concerned shall be heard by the Director of Public Instruction before taking such a decision. The decision shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

Accordingly, WPA 10092 of 2022 is disposed of. Let urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
