Pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner Uttarpara PS Case No.158 of 2022 dated May 11, 2022 under Sections 420/418/406/403/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the respondent nos.7 to 11. Records reveal that sketch map of the place of occurrence was prepared. Statements of available witnesses were recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The investigating officer issued a notice under Section 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure upon the petitioner. Raids were held. Some of the accused persons surrendered before the learned ACJM, Serampore, Hooghly on May 30, 2022 and they were released on interim bail. Rest of the FIR named accused persons are absconding. Under such circumstances, nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition. The police authorities shall conclude the investigation in accordance with law, within a period of three months from date of communication of this order. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Srerampore,

Hooghly, belonging to the Chandannagore Commissionarate shall monitor the investigation.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
