The grievance of the petitioner pertains to nonpayment of retiral benefits. The petitioner also challenges the disciplinary proceeding initiated in terms of a show cause notice dated December 28, 2021.

It is submitted on behalf of the respondent nos.2 and 3 that by virtue of a letter dated September 22, 2023, the Competent Authority has passed an order on May 25, 2022 withdrawing the suspension notice of the petitioner. In view of the communication dated September 22, 2023, nothing survives in this writ petition. Accordingly, WPA 10645 of 2023 stands disposed of as infructuous. The State authorities are directed to act in accordance with law.

A copy of the letter dated September 22, 2023 submitted by respondent nos.2 and 3 in Court today be kept with the record.
