The petitioner is aggrieved by alleged inaction on the part of the State in providing security to the petitioner to take over secured assets under the provisions of the SARFAESI Act, 2002.

The District Magistrate has already passed orders in terms of the Section 14 of the said Act of 2002. The petitioner was asked to deposit sums of money of Rs.23,293/- which they have done on 27th July, 2021.

The Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate does not have any objection to provide security since the petitioner has already made payment.

In that view of the matter, the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate shall provide sufficient security to the petitioner in terms of the order of the District Magistrate to enable the petitioner to take possession of the secured assets at 2.00 p.m. on 18th August, 2021.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
