13.06.2022 sdas rejected C.R.M.(A) 2602 of 2022 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Raninagar Police Station Case No. 177 of 2021 dated 10.04.2021 under Section 21(c ) of the NDPS Act.

And In Re : Rafikul Islam Mandal ..... petitioner Mr. Joy Chakraborty ... for the petitioner Mr. Sanjoy Bardhan Ms. Baishakhi Chatterjee ... for the State Materials on record show that the petitioner is the owner of the vehicle which was used to transport narcotic substance above commercial quantity.

In view of the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
