1. The petitioner complains that despite successful completion of work, payment has not been made to him.

2. The petitioner was issued a work order for outsourcing of income tax deduction in respect of teaching and nonteaching staff of non-government aided recognized senior school under the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Hooghly for the financial years 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21 & 2021-22.

3. The petitioner made representation before the Commissioner of School Education seeking payment but the same is pending consideration till date.

4. Without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, as it appears that a work order was issued in his favour and a completion certificate has also been issued by the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Hooghly way back on 23rd August, 2021, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Commissioner of School Education to consider the prayer of the petitioner for releasing the

payment for the work done in accordance with the work order.

5. An opportunity of hearing shall be given to all the necessary parties prior to disposing of the prayer of the petitioner.

6. The amount that may be found due and payable to the petitioner shall be disbursed in his favour without any further delay subject to compliance of all necessary formalities.

7. Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

8. Learned advocate representing the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation along with all documents in support of the claim to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of this Court.

9. The writ petition stands disposed of.

10. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
