Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that in spite of complaint to the police they are inactive.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the police enquired into the complaint of the petitioner. It reveals that the petitioner claims ownership of an immovable property over which the private respondent claims ownership. There is a long standing dispute with regard to the immovable property. Police submitted a prosecution under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure against the petitioner and the private respondent also.

In view of the steps taken by the police on the basis of the complaint made by the petitioner as noted above and in view of the fact that the dispute between the parties are civil in nature and relates to the immovable property, no further interference is called for by the writ court.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 11332 of 2021 is disposed of.
