The petitioners complain that the private respondents are threatening the petitioners. There are civil proceeding in the nature of a partition suit between the parties. Preliminary decree is stated to have been passed thereunder.

The Officer-in-charge of Marishda P.S., Purba Medinipur has submitted instructions to State Counsel. It appears that two charge-sheets have been filed by the said police station against the private respondents.

Counsel for the private respondents submitted that it is the petitioners, who are harassing the private respondents. In the above background, this Court is of the view that the police have taken due steps in accordance with law and there is no inaction on their part.

The Officer-in-charge of Marishda P.S shall, however, ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area and shall continue to maintain regular vigil in the said premises.

The instructions of the Officer-in-charge of Marishda P.S dated 19th July, 2021 is kept on record along with annexures.

With the aforesaid directions, W.P.A. 11456 of 2021 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official wesbite of this Court.
