Petitioner complaints of police in action.

State and the private respondent are represented. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the State submits that the complaint of the petitioner was enquired into. On enquiry the police learnt that there are disputes between the private parties which are civil in nature.

The private respondent is represented.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent submits that the petitioner did not specify the plot at which the petitioner wants to return. He submits that the petitioner and the private respondent are stepbrothers. The father is still alive. There was compromise between the parties in which the petitioner

was allotted certain plots. He submits that the petitioner at liberty to reside at those plots.

In the facts of the present case, since the police took action on the complaint of the petitioner, enquired into the same and since, there are disputes between the private parties which are civil in nature, interference by a writ court is not called for. The private parties are at liberty to avail of their remedies before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

WPA 11347 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Debangsu Basak, J.)
