2. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

3. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, Domkal, Murshidabad to take steps in terms of the communication made by the Sub Divisional Land & Land Reforms Officer, Domkal vide Memo No. 377/En/SDL&LRO/Domkal/2023 dated 26th June, 2023.

4. In the absence of the respondents, the Court is not in a position to decide the issue conclusively.

5. As the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer was already directed by the Sub Divisional Land & Land Reforms Officer to take steps for fresh enquiry measurement and to ascertain the price of earth as per the conversion rate, accordingly, the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer ought to have taken necessary steps.

6. The instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer to take steps in

response to the communication made by the Sub Divisional Land & Land Reforms Officer.

7. Steps shall be taken in the matter by the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer at the earliest but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

8. Steps taken in the matter shall be made known to the petitioner.

9. The writ petition stands disposed of.

10. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
