Datta, Mr. Rajat Dutta ...for the State 14-05-2025 AKG Ct. 15 The petitioner submits that although he was successful in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2025, conducted by the National Testing Agency, he was unable to complete the application process for the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) - 2025, due to his illness.

The petitioner contends that the said examination is being conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and accordingly prays for a direction upon the said institution to permit him to appear in the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) - 2025.

Having considered the submissions, I am of the view that a substantial and integral part of the cause of action in the present matter has arisen outside the territorial jurisdiction of this Court.

Accordingly, this writ petition is not entertained by

this Court. However, this shall not preclude the petitioner from pursuing appropriate remedies in accordance with law before the competent forum.

In view of the above, WPA 10553 of 2025 stands disposed of.
