1. By this public interest litigation the petitioners seek for a direction upon the authorities to take action on the alleged ground that the private respondents have encroached upon a government land and put up illegal construction. In this regard, the petitioners have submitted certain representations in which it is stated that the other persons of the locality are also signatories.

2. Since no action has been taken on the representations, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.

3. Since we are disposing of the writ petition without hearing the private parties except the official respondents, we are not inclined to issue any positive direction as sought for by the petitioners but would dispose of the writ petition with the following direction: The petitioners are directed to give a fresh representation along with copies of the earlier representations and the copy of this order and submit the same to the 6th respondent

and the 6th respondent is directed to consider the said representation after giving notice to all concerned and take a decision on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the server copy of the order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
