The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of history in Rashpur Girls High School, Village-Rashpur, DistrictHowrah. She has applied for general transfer under Utsashree Portal.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the non- consideration of her such application.

Mr. Chattopadhyay, learned Additional Government Pleader submits that there is no surplus teacher of History available in the district to fill up the vacancy that would arise, if the prayer of the petitioner is allowed.

The petitioner is the sole teacher of History in the said school, as such her prayer, at this stage cannot be considered, the petitioner may apply in future if occasion so arises. Mrs. Tanima Patra, Headmistress of the said school is personally present before this Court, she submits that the directions of this Court for infrastructural development of the school have been complied with and in pursuance thereof, the civil works of the school are at the verge of completion.

Mr. Chattopadhyay submits that process of filling up two vacancies in the post of Bengali and Geography teachers of the school has been initiated by the District Inspector of Schools (S.E), Howrah, the respondent no. 4 herein and it is expected that those vacancies would be filled up very soon. In view of the aforementioned development, there is no necessity of keeping this writ petition pending, W.P.A. 10132 of 2022 is accordingly disposed of without any order as to costs.
