The short prayer of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for return of the black stone that was loaded in the vehicle bearing registration no. WB-29B1785, which is lying in the custody of the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Bankura - I, District - Bankura, the 4th respondent herein.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the same may be returned to the petitioner upon verification of all documents and upon an application being filed by the petitioner before the authority.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to submit an application in this regard before the 4th respondent within a week from date.

The 4th respondent shall consider and dispose of the representation within two weeks from the date of

receipt thereof after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in accordance with law. In the event the petitioner is found entitled to the black stone, the same shall be returned to him by the 4th respondent within a week thereafter.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
