Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner no. 1 has criminal antecedents. We have considered materials on record including the CDRs. The said materials disclose communication between the petitioners and the co-accused from whom the stolen idol was recovered. Petitioner no. 1 has criminal antecedents.

In view of the aforesaid facts and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
