The petitioner seeks mutation of the premises no. 64/1, Sahid Mangal Pandey Sarani, Ward No. 22 under the jurisdiction of the Barrackpore Municipality. An application for mutation was filed in the year 2017. The same has not been concluded till date. Learned advocate representing the Municipality submits that presently all process involving mutation is being done online. It has been submitted that if the petitioner files online application for mutation, the same will be disposed of shortly.

In view of the aforesaid submission, leave is granted to the petitioner to apply online for mutation of the premises in question.

The Municipality shall take steps to consider the same in accordance with law at the earliest.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties after completion of all legal formalities.
