I am of the view that the Council should decide expeditiously as to whether the petitioner should be granted reciprocal registration.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the West Bengal Nursing Council to consider the application for reciprocal registration made by the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order.

The Council shall decide the application of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 11559 of 2024 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
