Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the private respondents demolished a boundary wall belonging to the petitioner. According to the petitioners, the boundary wall was on the land of the petitioner. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the complaint of the petitioners was inquired into and it was found that the disputes between private parties are civil in nature. The private respondents are claiming that the land belongs to them.

The immovable property concerned is yet to be demarcated.

In such situation, police cannot be called upon to decide the title to an immovable property. The police took steps as were required. No further interference is called for by the writ court.

WPA 11454 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
