By an order dated 8.2.2022, this court directed the learned advocate for the State to submit a progress report. Today report has been received from the concerned officer of the Hare Street Police Station, which reflects that the next date has been fixed on 4.3.2022 for consideration of charges. The petitioner approached this court at the stage when the charge sheet was submitted and no documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on which the prosecution has relied upon is enclosed along with the revisional application for challenging the proceedings.

Report submitted by the learned advocate for the State is kept with the record.

Having regard to the same, I am of the opinion that the petitioner approached this court at the premature stage. Accordingly, no interference is called for.

Accordingly, CRR 1461 of 2016 is dismissed.

All pending connection applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

The petitioner would be at liberty to canvass the issue raised in the revisional application at the stage of consideration on charge.

Learned Magistrate is directed to consider the charge and complete the process on the next date fixed or within a month thereafter.

The investigating officer of the case is directed to communicate this order to the learned Trial Court before the next dated so fixed.
