We have considered the materials on record.

Statements of witnesses recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicate the petitioner in the murder. He had absconded for a protracted period of time. Bail prayer of the co-accused has been turned down by this Court. Under such circumstances and in view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
