Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner has recently changed his allegiance from the ruling political dispensation to the opposition political party. After this, he has been entangled in several criminal cases by the local police administration. In a murder case of 2018, the petitioner was added as an accused in 2021 based on a social media post. He was granted bail by a Division Bench of this Court. In another such case, a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court quashed the proceeding. The petitioner apprehends that he would be

harassed and arrested in respect of other cases where he may be tagged as accused maliciously.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State denies the allegations, relies on the report and submits as follows. The petitioner is an accused of several offences in cases dating back to 2012. As of now, there is no other case than the criminal cases mentioned in the report which are pending against the petitioner.

The prime grievance of the petitioner that he should be supplied with a list of cases presently pending against him is already redressed as the report admittedly contains the list of such cases as per the State.

Therefore, no further order need be passed in this regard.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
