Heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.

Petitioner is in custody for about 330 days.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record which show victim housewife suffered homicidal death at the matrimonial home. Petitioner is the husband of the victim housewife. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials on record and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
