1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner alleges that despite completion of the work in terms of the tender floated by the respondent authority, bills raised by the petitioner have not been paid till date.

3. As it appears that the bills in respect of the work performed by the petitioner is pending disposal at the end of the Panchayat Samity, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending.

4. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent nos. 3,4 & 6 to take a decision with regard to the bills raised by the petitioner in respect of the work performed by him strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

5. The said respondents shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

6. In the event the said respondents are of the opinion that any amount is due and payable to the petitioner, then steps shall be taken by the said respondents for clearing the dues of the petitioner immediately thereafter.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
