Versus

Arpita Ghosal (nee Mukherjee) The present revisional application has been preferred against the judgment and order dated 25.02.2021 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 1st Court, Howrah in connection with Criminal Revision No.88 of 2019, wherein the learned revisional court was pleased to affirm the order dated 06.07.2019 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Howrah in connection with Criminal Misc. Case No.108 of 2018 under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Learned Magistrate by the said order was pleased to award maintenance aggregating to a sum of Rs.20,000/- per month in favour of the opposite party/wife and the minor son.

I have considered the reasons so assigned by the learned Magistrate as well as the learned revisional court. Having regard to the factual foundations on which such quantum was arrived by the learned Magistrate and affirmed by the learned revisional court, I am of the opinion that no interference is called for. Accordingly, CRR 1432 of 2021 is dismissed.
