But, till date, only charges have been framed but no witness has been examined. Learned advocate also submits that there are 12 witnesses cited in the charge-sheet. Since, there has been no progress, learned advocate prays for bail on any stringent condition.

Mr. Sagar Saha, learned advocate, appears for the State as per the direction of this court. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned authority. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that time period has not been completed.

Having considered that there is force in the submission of the prosecution, I direct the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after the aforesaid time period is over.

Considering the stage of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) of is dismissed.
