Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner draws the attention of the Court to the representation made on or about 24.03.2025 with the Officer-in-Charge of Rampurhat Police Station. The main grievance of the petitioner related to a work which was done for which cheque was issued and the same was subsequently dishonoured.

Be that as it may, State has submitted a report which reflects that Rampurhat Police Station case no. 244/2025 dated 19.05.2025 has been registered for investigation under Sections 420/406 of the Indian Penal Code.

Having considered that the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred being subserved, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, WPA 10765 of 2025 is disposed of. Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
