Perused the report filed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bishnupur, Bankura and the same be kept on record.
There was no stay granted by this court with regard to G.R. Case No. 104 of 2000. However, such information was not provided to the learned trial court and adjournment was sought on several occasions at the pre-text of obtaining an order from the Hon'ble High Court.
The instant revisional application was fixed for hearing before this Bench on 22.12.2022, 23.12.2022, 02.01.2023 and 03.01.2023. None appeared for the parties. However, on 04.01.2023 the date was fixed for hearing, the petitioners were directed to serve copy of the revisional application upon the opposite party. No such endeavour has been taken by the petitioners.
No further adjournment is granted.
The instant revisional application being CRR 953 of 2014 is dismissed for default.
The trial court is directed to proceed with the case as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournment resorting to all possible measures under the law to ensure the appearance of the parties before the court. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.)
