The affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

2. The only grievance of the petitioner before this Court that the petitioner is a senior citizen and having three daughters and one son. All the three daughters and the son have already married but the son has grabbed the residential building of the petitioner and also siphoned off the amount of the petitioner and the petitioner is not having any source of income.

3. It is the further case of the petitioner that the petitioner has made an application before the concerned authority including the Sub-Divisional Officer for taking appropriate steps but till date no action has been taken.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Sub-Divisional Officer, Durgapur, Paschim Bardhaman to consider the application filed by the petitioner dated April 6, 2026 and April 21, 2026 by giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the

petitioner as well as the son of the petitioner and to pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

5. WPA 11173 of 2026 is disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
