Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a report of the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Purba Medinipur dated 7th July, 2025 and same is taken on record.

On perusal of the report dated 7th July, 2025, it appears that petitioner applied for family pension being widow daughter on 7th April, 2025 and subsequently, attended the office of the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Purba Medinipur being respondent no.4 on 25th June, 2025 and submitted legal heir certificate and also put signature in the pension booklet. After compliance of necessary formalities and making the pension papers ready, pension case of the petitioner was forwarded to the Directorate of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance on 3rd July, 2025 vide memo dated 26th June, 2025.

From the report dated 7th July, 2025 it also appears that at present family pension case of the petitioner is pending before the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance being respondent no.2.

In view of aforesaid situation respondent no.2 is directed to issue pension payment order in favour of the petitioner on compliance of all necessary formalities by four (4) weeks from the date of communication of this order. Respondent authorities are further directed to release family pension in favour of the petitioner at an early date but not later than ten

(10) weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With the above directions, writ petition stands disposed of.
