Matter is heard pursuant to the order dated 9th June, 2026 when it is submitted on behalf of the State Bank of India that account of the petitioner lying in Ghoshpur Branch, Khanakul, Hooghly is debit frozen based on an intimation received from National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.

A document is produced on behalf of the Bank Authority which is also part of the writ petition (pages 42 & 43) wherefrom it appears that Rs. 2210.77/- is a disputed amount in connection with account of the petitioner and the alleged transaction is 4th layer transaction which is connected to the account of the petitioner.

In view of particulars divulged in the document and relied upon on behalf of the Bank Authority and taking note of the fact that Rs.2210.77/- is the disputed amount, Branch Manger, Ghoshpur

Branch, State Bank of India being respondent no.3 is directed to permit the petitioner to operate his account after marking the said account under lien to the extent of Rs.2210.77/-.

Such steps shall be taken by the respondent no.3 within a period of seven days from date.

Writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
