Learned counsel for the State-respondent, at the outset, points out, by handing over instructions received by learned counsel for the State, that a date of hearing has been fixed on June 23, 2022, in order to resolve the dispute raised by the petitioner in his representation.

The limited grievance of the writ petitioner was the non consideration of such representation, which has been taken care of by fixing a specific date of hearing of the same.

Learned counsel for the private respondents submits that the writ petition, as such, has become infructuous.

In view of the steps taken by the respondent authorities in fixing the date of hearing on June 23,

2022 in respect of the representation of the petitioner, WPA 10179 of 2022 is disposed of with the expectation that the respondent authorities shall decide on the representation of the petitioner upon giving such hearing as fixed, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, positively within three weeks from the said date of hearing, that is, after June 23, 2022.

Needless to say, while taking such decision, the respondent authorities shall consider the submissions made and the documents produced by the petitioner and the private respondent as well as all other concerned, who are parties to such hearing. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
