The petitioner had participated in the selection process initiated by the Board in the year 2022 for recruitment of Assistant Teachers in primary schools of the State as a para-teacher and she had appeared before the concerned District Primary School Council for counseling; the petitioner is complaining that till date, the fate of her candidature has not been communicated to her. The report says that para-teachers of the Primary schools were eligible to participate in the said selection process; the petitioner since was a para-teacher of an upper primary school, which was detected at the time of counseling, is not eligible for appointment; accordingly, her candidature was rejected. In view of such, WPA 11625 of 2024 fails. There shall however be no order as to costs.
