The petitioners complain of police inaction.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, the petitioners lodged a complaint on April 30, 2021 and obtained an order under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The police are inactive.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on instructions, submits that, the police enquired into the complaint of the petitioners and found that there were disputes with regard to putting up of an iron-gate on an undivided property. The police, however, are keeping a strict vigil to maintain law and order in the locale.

In the facts of the present case, it appears that there are disputes between the private parties, which are civil in nature. The petitioners are attempting to erect an iron-gate on a property, which is yet to be demarcated. The police took steps as noted above. In the facts of the present case, no further interference is called for by the writ court. W.P.A. No.11470 of 2021 is disposed of, accordingly.
