Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that in spite of the learned Magistrate directing the concerned police station for registration of FIR and subsequent to which Muchipara Police Station case no. 22/24 dated 22.02.2024 was registered for investigation and no positive steps have been taken by the police authorities. Petitioner as such feels helpless in respect of the police authorities not progressing with the case. Learned advocate for the State has submitted report. Report reflects that notices have been issued

under Section 41A of the Cr.P.C. and steps have been taken.

Mr. Ganguly, learned senior advocate appears on behalf of respondent no.9 and submits that the Bank authorities have nothing to do and has acted on the documents supplied by the petitioner.

Be that as it may, the investigation of the case is under progress. The investigating officer of the case is directed to expedite the process. Petitioner would be at liberty to pray for a progress report 30 days hence. In case the learned Magistrate on perusal of the progress report is of the opinion that the police authorities have not been able to put in proper efforts, steps be taken to transfer the investigation to the Officer-in-Charge, AntiCheating Sections, Detective Department, Lalbazar. With the aforesaid observations WPA 10853 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
