The prayer advanced in the writ petition was for consideration of the representation dated 9th April, 2025 made by the petitioner to the Officer-inCharge, Anandapur Police Station. State has submitted a report which reflects that the police authorities have registered a case being Anandapur Police Station Case No. 119 dated 14.05.2025.

Having considered that the police authorities have already considered and taken steps, I am of the opinion that the purpose for which the writ petition was preferred, has been subserved.

The police authorities are directed to take effective steps so that the investigation of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 10665 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
