Affidavit of Service filed on behalf of the petitioner be kept with the records.

This is an application for a separate commercial electricity connection.

On behalf of the CESC Limited, a Report dated June 10, 2026 has been filed which indicates that the CESC Limited is ready and willing to supply the electricity connection in favour of the petitioner subject to necessary payment and compliances.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties and the Report dated June 10, 2026, WPA 11196 of 2026 stands allowed by directing CESC Limited to provide the electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner after compliance with all statutory formalities and payment of necessary fees.

The proposed meter is to be installed at the common meter room, if necessary through police assistance.

Liberty is granted to the CESC Limited to take police assistance of the circumstances so warrant. Any cost or expense towards the police would be borne exclusively by the petitioner.

The above exercise is to be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
