1. The Superintendent of Police, Bongaon Police District has filed a report dated 13th May, 2023, which is taken on record.

2. It appears from the said report that FIR No. 260 of 2023 dated 4th May, 2023 has been registered. It further appears from the said report that the SubDivisional Police Officer, Bagdah is supervising the investigation and proceedings have been drawn up against the Investigating Officer concerned.

3. It is directed that the investigation into the subject FIR be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from date.

4. In view of the aforesaid, nothing further remains to be decided in this writ petition and the same is disposed of.

5. There will be no order as to costs.

6. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
