The grievance of the petitioner in this matter is that he is working as an assistant teacher in a secondary school from 1988. From 06.03.2019 revision of pay scale has come into effect for which he has been granted benefit so far as his salary is concerned, but the arrear payment in respect of the said enhancement of pay scale has not been given to him.

In this respect the petitioner has sent one representation to the authorities including the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Purba Medinipore dated 22nd March, 2021 which is at Annexure P-7 but it does not appear when it was served upon the said District Inspector of Schools.

However, I direct the said District Inspector of Schools to look into the mater after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order and to pass a reasoned order thereon by two weeks after completion of the said four-month period. With the above observation, this writ application is disposed of.
