Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the information furnished with the Officer-in-Charge, Phoolbagan Police Station was not acted upon. Mr. Basu, learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted police report which reflects that Phoolbagan Police Station case no. 78/2025 dated 15.05.2025 has been registered for investigation. Petitioner complained that although the case has been registered but no specific steps have been taken by the police authorities.

In view of the submissions advanced by the petitioner, I direct that the investigating officer would put in efforts to exhaust the process of law by collecting the materials which would include oral and documentary evidence and take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that since no affidavits have been used the allegations made in the writ petition may be deemed not to have been admitted. It is submitted that respondents will take recourse to the appropriate remedies under the law at the relevant point of time.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 10788 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.
