Mr. Debabrata Sardar ...for the petitioner This application is for expeditious disposal of the case before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Baruipur, District - South 24 Parganas.

Learned advocate for the petitioner drawing the attention of the Court to the earlier orders points out that the case was initiated in the year 2020 and till date cross-examination of PW-1 is continuing. It has also been submitted that because of the long drawn pendency the petitioner is suffering.

Having considered the fact that the case was filed in the year 2020 and more than 31⁄2 years have passed and the crossexamination of PW-1 has not been completed, I direct the learned Trial Court to fix at least one day/date be fixed in every two months. No unnecessary adjournments be granted to either of the parties. It is further directed that the trial of the case shall continue inspite of the resolution of the local bar and the participating advocates will not seek any accommodation because of such resolution. All stakeholders will cooperate with the learned Trial Court to conclude the proceedings to its logical conclusion.

With the above observations this revisional application being CRR No. 1732 of 2024 is disposed of.
