Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The writ petitioners are aggrieved by silence on the part of the State in respect of their requests for holding peaceful march to submit a deputation at Karigari Bhawan, Action Area-III, Plot No. B/7, New Town, Rajarhat.

The petitioners propose to hold the march on 8th May, 2023 at 2.30 p.m.

The procession is due to start from "Orchids, The International School" in New Town (Acharya Tulsi Academy) and proceed to Karigari Bhawan Bus Stoppage via Biswa Bangla Sarari within Action Area-III.

Counsel for the State submits that on the very same day, the Annual Convocation of Sister Nivedita University is due to be held at Biswa

Bangla Convocation Centre where the Governor of West Bengal, and other dignitaries are going to be present.

It is, therefore, directed that the petitioners may defer their timing from 2.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. and hold peaceful procession and reach Karigari Bhawan.

A delegation of 10 persons from the petitioners shall submit their deputation to the Principal Secretary, Department of Technical Education, Training and Skill Development, Karigari Bhawan, 2nd Floor, Action Area-III, New Town, Rajarhat. 8.

The petitioners shall hold a peaceful procession and submit their deputation and ensure that no untoward incident takes place during the event. 9.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

11.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
