The petitioner is aggrieved that they have been asked by the police, to wind up their peaceful demonstration being conducted at Sahid Minar Ground.

Since the petitioner's right to peaceful protest is a guaranteed right under the Constitution recognised by the Supreme Court of India, the petitioner may continue demonstration subject to the same conditions already imposed on them.

4.

The State may apply before this Court in the event of any requirement in future.

5.

The writ petition is disposed of.

6.

There will be no order as to costs.

7.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
